Chief Marketing Tech Therapist
Marketing Tech Therapy, which helps small businesses, nonprofits and entrepreneurs with marketing and communication strategies, was founded by Rachel Reuben, a marketing and communications leader with more than two decades experience leading integrated marketing efforts with colleges, universities, small businesses, nonprofits and entrepreneurs. Marketing Tech Therapy is a division of Rachel Reuben Consulting, LLC, a New York State certified woman-owned business enterprise (MWBE).
Rachel takes the overwhelm out of marketing. She geeks out on technology, especially tech that supports marketing efforts and efficient workflows, and thrives developing marketing and communications strategy for businesses and entrepreneurs in the Hudson Valley and beyond.
Before starting Marketing Tech Therapy, Rachel held posts as the vice president of communications at Colgate University and the associate vice president for marketing communications at Ithaca College. From 2010-14 Rachel led a comprehensive award-winning re-brand of Ithaca College, which included a new identity, logo, storytelling campaign, brand awareness advertising program, reskinned website, and more. She was also involved in the case statement drafts and comprehensive campaign communications strategic planning during their quiet/planning phase. From 1996-2010 Rachel worked at the State University of New York at New Paltz as their web editor, web coordinator and then their director of web communications and strategic projects.
A prolific and frequently invited speaker, Rachel has presented at dozens of industry conferences, and her writings and expertise have been featured in many industry publications and websites. She has a bachelor of science in organizational communication and marketing; and a master of business administration (MBA) in marketing and management, both from the State University of New York at New Paltz.
